Kevin & Scott (separately) at Steve Allen Theater...

Are you in Los Angeles? Wanna see Kevin McDonald perform Hammy & The Kids? I received word that Kevin McDonald will be performing Hammy & The Kids this Friday, January 11, 2008 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available online at the link above.

I also heard that Scott Thompson will be performing his one man show Scottastrophe on Fridays at the Steve Allen Theater during the month of February.

Birthday Salutations and Tour Info

Happy 45, Dave. Remember age is just a number. (And I can't talk since I'm the same age, huh?)

If you are in San Francisco at the end of this month you can catch the Kids in the Hall performing at the SF Sketchfest Comedy Festival, January 26-27, 2008 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre. Ticketweb has the tickets on sale now. Saturday's session sounds like it will be a discussion with the troupe and Sunday will be the day they will perform new and classic sketches. Man, why do I have to always be so broke in January?

For those of you who can make it... Enjoy and post about it on the forum. Yes?

Oh yeah, remember yesterday I talked about the mailing list? Um.. I think I've accidentally deleted the bulk of the people who didn't respond back. It's a new system and I thought I was going again and approving the pending members, but I think I've wiped you out. So if you want to be on the list, just click on Update List at the top of the banner.

Happy New Year!

Another year of sluggish activity from me and I apologize. Last year, the Kids got together and did Just for Laughs in Montreal and some shows in Los Angeles. Hopefully this year they will continue that trend. The best place to check that info is on our forum, because savvy folk tend to post it there when they hear about it.

Dave Foley's birthday is coming up January 4th. (See I can remember this things).

I think I've licked my mailing list spamming problem. I've gone with another listserv; for folks already subscribed in the past, I've moved your address over to the new listserv, but it will as you to verify that you are you. (To cut down on the spammers), sorry that it will have ads in it, that's the price you pay for using a free service, but I think it should all be fine.

This year I will probalby let my barbkith.net site go. I update it even less frequently than I update this one. I may just merge the pages over here and be done with it. I just need some weekend with nothing to do to achieve it I think.

I'm a BAD UPDATER!

I'm sorry I never got around to updating here to let you guys know that the Kids were doing performances at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival last month. If you are keeping up with the KITHFAN.ORG Forum, it was mentioned there and on the calendar there.

I also missed Bruce, Kevin, Mark and Scott's birthdays (May and June). Call me a slug in slug sauce. I apologize.

But for now I've updated the transcripts by adding three more, you can find those in the Shortcuts to New Scripts in the box on the right side of the page. I know I keep promising to be better at this, but I obviously 'fail at the internets' at the moment.

Bruce performing in S.F. in late January

Bruce McCulloch will be performing at San Francisco Sketchfest at the Eureka Theater on January 27 & January 28.

Craig Northey will also be performing there on the 28th. The tickets are $25. I wish I could go.

Ah, for those of you who have signed up on the forum, please be patient. I am learning the forum software on the fly so mistakes will be made. I'll get it right (or go to the correct places to ask to fix stuff) so bear with me.

Happy New Year (a bit late)

I realize that I've been remiss is keeping these pages updated and I apologize. I've been a bad webmaster and neglecting both this site and my barbkith websites. I don't keep up with tv or movies much these days.

So to make it up to you (while I force myself to streamline these pages [yeah I know I make that resolution EVERY year]), I've put a forum. So you can post the important stuff that you hear about our intrepid Canadian guys. You have to register to post. I could have left allow guest postings, but I just didn't want to worry about unnecessary bots flooding it with spam. It's a little sparse now, but I've posted a few things there (like Scott's new blog & Kevin being in a movie coming out this month).

If the forum gets too busy, I may be forced to appoint a moderator who would keep up with it. So for now, enjoy it.
