Hi, my name is Shannon, I am 17 years old and live in Oklahoma. I first was introduced to KITH back in the '90s by my dad, and since then I've been hooked! I would have to say my favorite kid is kevin, and my favorite sketches are the ones with Dean the king of empty promises. it's really nice to see a new KITH forum, really, it's totally awesome

Hi - I'm Lisa and I am very old (well the same age as the kids anyway). I'm from England and have only so far seen a few episodes that were shown at around 3am on channel 4 in 1995. I think they were from seasons 2 and 3. (I had insomnia at the time for which I was grateful as it introduced me to the kids!). Anyway - I saw a few sketches on you tube and it made me realise how wonderfully original these guys were. And I now own series 1 and 2 and series 3 is on the way. FANTASTIC STUFF and I can't wait to see the rest. I would love to see them live but I suspect this will never happen but I can dream.
bye
Lx

I thought I was the biggest KITH fan until I found this site. You guys are nuts, but it's o.k. to be nuts over KITH because it was in my opinion the funniest show ever made. My favourite sketch ever was "Shirling". New snake! New snake!

Hola! I'm Laura, an 18-year-old Vermonter. Being so close, I sort of grew up around lots of Canadian comedy. I first got into KITH when I was in middle school, a few years after it was no longer being produced. So I saw it in reruns, but, hey--it was all new to me And now that my family no longer has a decent cable package, I watch KITH on DVD and via the magic of youtube. I'm going to be a Drama major at Ithaca College this Fall, and have already started dipping my toes into more elevated levels of theater. I wrote a one-act play this year which played at several venues here in Vermont, and saw its final performance at the Paramount Theater in Rutland. Right now I'm working on getting it published (Alan Haehnel, a prolific VT playwright, is helping me format it and get it ready to send off to potential publishers.) I definitely aspire to be as funny and entertaining as the Kids--either through my writing, or acting, or both. Their comedy is so abstract and cerebral (okay, most of it. It seems that Bruce had the biggest hand in their deeper, artsier sketches.) I just love good comedy that makes you think. And good character development. Basically, these guys are my heros. And it's going to be nice hanging around a forum with like-minded people, equally affected and in love with these guys. So, there you have it. That's about all you need to know about me. See ya around, guys!

Hi folks - I was glad to find your site since I had not heard about the KITH tour, but hopefully can see it in NYC in April.
I have been a Scott Thompson fan forever, and it was the highlight of my life to have met him this summer in Provincetown when he performed Scottastrophe. I got to talk to him a lot - I might have said some wrong things about his show, but I hope my message got through, namely that I admire him and look forward to seeing more of him.
I loved Scottastrophe, but I thought he should warn people that it is not funny, nor is it supposed to be. While there were some great Scott lines sprinkled through it, it is mostly a recounting of some really tragic things that happened to him. So, while those who love him and welcome any insight into his life and his way of thinking will be glad they came, those who were merely KITH fans may come away pretty confused. I just thought that it would be better to let the audience know before they got there that this was not going to be the usual comedy. Also, at that time he was reading from a script - I don't know if he's still doing that. Again, it didn't bother me but I can see how it might annoy some people to pay to see what was essentially a work in progress.
I was also looking for an email address at which I might write to Scott - I don't know if he'd remember me from last summer but I wanted to let him know that his show made a big impression on me. Does anyone know of one?
Again, thanks for the info - has anyone seen the new show or heard anything about it? I'm excited just by the idea of it.
